Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery encompasses the art and science of diagnosis, surgical and related treatment of diseases, injuries, defects and aesthetic aspects of the oral and maxillofacial area. The word maxillofacial refers to the jaws and face.

We have two offices to serve the Northeast Kent and Western Montcalm County areas. Both offices are fully equipped for ambulatory anesthesia and oral & maxillofacial surgery. Diagnostic facilities include state-of-the-art x-ray equipment for specialized tomographic examination as well as digital imaging for facial procedures. Surgical facilities include modern anesthesia monitoring and recovery equipment.

Some services our office offers include: 1)Dentoalveolar/Oral surgery ie: removal of oral lesions/tumors, removal of impacted wisdom teeth, single or multiple tooth extractions. 2) Oral/Dental Implant reconstruction ranging from a single tooth or entire jaw. Dental implants replace missing teeth and include endosseous and transosseous devices. 3) Reconstructive Surgery including bone grafting. We have two office locations, one in northeast Grand Rapids, MI, and another in Rockford, MI in northern Kent County.
